Biography

Katie Price began playing the saxophone at the age of  9, and took up playing the piano at 11 and became a trained singer from age 13. She went on to take an music degree at the university of Nottingham. 

​

Kate has performed extensively as a solo musician primarily as a singer. Kate also performs in Jazz Bands, Orchestras and choirs having performed across Europe, including singing at the Menin Gate in Belgium,  at St Paul's Cathedral in London, and St Bavo's Cathedral in Ghent as well as performing locally on a regular basis. Kate was a  choral Scholar at St Barnabas Cathedral in Nottingham for three years and often performed solo works and regularly sang for funerals, weddings and events.  

Kate began conducting when she was 16, with choirs of 11-13 year olds. She has continued to conduct children's and adult's choirs since. 

 

Kate is a currently a primary school teacher and works in school assisting the performing arts department as well as continuing to give tutoring to individual students.
